I am excited to share with you that me and my whole family are participating in the 2009 Dusk2Dawn Evening Walk.
Dusk2Dawn is a 12 mile walk taking place the night of September 26, 2009.
This amazing event will benefit those living with HIV/AIDS in Minnesota and South Africa by supporting the charities Arm In Arm In Africa and Open Arms of Minnesota.
This is really important to me because I visited South Africa for three weeks last year to help deliver food and medical supplies. It was very emotional to see how many people were struggling there. I made several hundred friendship bracelets before the trip and I loved seeing the people's happy faces when I gave the bracelets to them.
Since then I have vowed to help in others ways. I've sent some of my personal allowance to a family there...but I want to do more.
I've set a personal fundraising goal for Dusk2Dawn and that's where you come in...
