The 2009 Dusk2Dawn Walk was magical! The weather was perfect, the food was plentiful, the music was fantastic and the donations were generous. We know that it would be impossible to repeat this ideal set of circumstances. So we will be content with Dusk2Dawn being a one-time event...and with the memories. These two organizations will join together again for a special World Aids Day event in 2010.
We'll keep you posted.
Thank you Walkers and Volunteers! What an amazing night! Dusk2Dawn 2009 was a success because of friends like all of you.
Thank you to our generous Sponsors - Whole Foods , Professional Fiduciary Inc., Carrousel Travel, McCoy's Public House, Nutrisoda, Pearson's Candy and The Fixx.

An evening walk to support HIV/AIDS nutrition programs here and abroad.
On September 26, 2009 from 6 pm to 10 pm, join Open Arms of Minnesota and Arm in Arm in Africa on their inaugural evening walk: Dusk2Dawn. These two organizations are co-producing this event to help raise awareness and funding for HIV/AIDS nutrition programs in Minnesota and South Africa.
Despite the name, you will be able to be home in bed by 11 pm! Take advantage of a gorgeous autumn evening along beautiful Minnehaha Parkway and Lake Nokomis. You can create your own "walking experience" by choosing from a number of different route options. Choose from 3, 5, 7 and 11 mile options - we know you will find one to suit your walking abilities! Click here to see the route
Your evening begins and ends at St. Joan of Arc Church in Minneapolis with entertainment by musical guests
T. Mychael Rambo, Gwen Matthews Band and jazz singer Aaron Keith Stewart.
What are you waiting for? We're going to have a blast, and we're hoping you will join us! Join a Team. Better yet, start your own team. You can also register as an individual walker. We're looking for volunteers to register as well. If you have any questions that the website can't answer, please e-mail nancy@openarmsmn.org
Walk in Dusk2Dawn, and you walk with the knowledge that you made a significant difference in the nutritional health of those living with HIV/AIDS here and abroad.
